The NRL Cowboys House partner family is continuing to grow with iconic Aussie brand Tip Top joining as a Friend of the House.

A staple of Australian households for generations, Tip Top’s connection with the House is one of many regional partnerships the company is establishing as part of its commitment to caring for communities every day.

Part of George Weston Foods Limited, one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest food manufacturers, Tip Top’s commitment to making a positive difference to the health of customers aligns with the House’s goal of ensuring its more than 100 students are meeting positive dietary standards daily.

Tip Top managing director Andrew Cummings said the partnership flourished after a visit to the House left a lasting impression.

“Tip Top Bakeries is proud to announce its partnership with the Cowboys Community Foundation, marking our commitment to improving the lives of young Indigenous people at NRL Cowboys House,” he said.

“Being a Friend of the House aligns with our desire to have a positive impact on the communities we operate in, and we are excited to explore the many ways we can support these students and the charity."

“Our Townsville bakery manager Shaun Schostakowsi joined the students at NRL Cowboys House when they commemorated National Sorry Day at a breakfast in May and was impressed by the facilities and culture of care and support.”

Friends of the House is a well-established partnership platform that provides like-minded businesses with an opportunity to contribute to the vision and purpose of NRL Cowboys House.

Cowboys Community Foundation Director Fiona Pelling said Tip Top’s strong community focus and emphasis on healthy eating was a great fit for NRL Cowboys House.

“It’s fantastic to welcome Tip Top on board as a Friend of the House,” she said.

“Tip Top is a well-established Australian brand that shares our commitment to ensuring students have access not only to nourishing meals but the education and knowledge to make the right food choices.”
