The roar of the crowd, the build-up to kick-off and the chance to see the Cowboys run onto the field are all part of the home game experience many North Queenslanders look forward to.
But for some members of our community, being part of game day isn’t always so simple.
Through Cowboys Field of Dreams, the Cowboys Community Foundation helps open the doors to Queensland Country Bank Stadium for community groups and individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience a Cowboys home game.
With the support of Toyota Australia, Field of Dreams has welcomed guests from local organisations throughout the 2026 season, creating memorable game day experiences for people who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend a Cowboys home game.
On 6 June, members and families from the Myasthenia Gravis Association of Queensland (MGAQ) joined the Cowboys crowd during International Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month.
For the group, the experience was about more than watching the football. “The opportunity for MGAQ members and their families to attend the game was greatly appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed by all involved. Importantly, beyond the enjoyment of attending the game, the opportunity also helped raise awareness of Myasthenia Gravis (MG), which is especially meaningful during International MG Awareness Month”, a spokesperson for the organisation shared.
The same game also welcomed participants from Access Support Services, who watched the Cowboys in a dedicated room at Queensland Country Bank Stadium. The tailored setting allowed them to enjoy the excitement of game day in a comfortable and supportive environment.

FEAT joined the Field of Dreams experience on 27 June, before members of the Dementia Support Group were welcomed to the stadium on 25 July.
For the Dementia Support Group, the night provided an opportunity for members to get out, connect with one another and simply enjoy an evening at the football together.
“Thank you so much for the night out for our members. They all enjoyed it immensely. I hope you know we are truly appreciative of the opportunity and to increase our profile in the community” said Loraine, from Dementia Support Group.
It is these moments of connection that sit at the heart of Field of Dreams.
While each organisation supports different people and needs, the program provides a shared opportunity to feel part of the Cowboys community, whether that means experiencing the energy of the stadium for the first time, enjoying a night out with family and friends, or having an organisation’s work recognised in front of a broader audience.
Toyota Australia General Manager, National Marketing, Vin Naidoo said supporting Field of Dreams was another way Toyota could help recognise organisations making a difference in their communities.
“Toyota Australia is proud to support the Field of Dreams program and the positive impact it has across our community. Initiatives like this provide a valuable opportunity to recognise and support local organisations doing important work, and this year that includes Access Support Services, FEAT and the Dementia Support Group.
“We’re honoured to play a small role in helping these organisations continue to make a meaningful difference to the lives of people across the region.”
Through the support of Toyota Australia, Field of Dreams continues to make game day about more than what happens on the field, creating a place for more people to experience the excitement, connection and sense of belonging that comes with being part of the Cowboys community.
