The winner of the Cowboys Community Foundation’s biggest ever charity raffle has received her ‘life-changing’ prize – a brand-new Toyota RAV4 Cruiser Hybrid prize pack valued at over $60,000.
Heather’s winning entry was drawn from a barrel filled with almost 6,000 tickets purchased across Queensland and New South Wales as part of the inaugural Cowboys For the North charity raffle.
“I love my new car! It’s absolutely beautiful and I feel so grateful,” she said.
“Apart from the fact that we like the Cowboys, I entered the raffle because my daughter and my friend have RAV4s, and I’ve always wanted one too.
“It’s going to mean so much to me and my family, so thank you, thank you, thank you!”
From Paddington in New South Wales, Heather collected her prize from Toyota’s Sydney Dealership earlier this month.
The stunning SUV comes loaded with premium features including a 2.5L Hybrid Electric System, 9-speaker JBL® premium audio, Toyota Safety Sense, tilt/slide moon-roof, dual-zone climate control, power tailgate, black leather-accented interior, 18" alloy wheels and 1 year of Toyota Connected Services.
Plus, she can refuel her car and her refrigerator thanks to a $500 Ampol fuel voucher, and $495 Coles voucher thanks to Personalised Plates Queensland (PPQ).

Cowboys Community Foundation CEO Fiona Pelling recognised the community for helping Heather’s new-car dreams come true and making the inaugural Cowboys For the North charity raffle a resounding success.
“This was truly a community effort, we’re incredibly thankful,” Fiona said.
“We are always humbled by the generosity of Cowboys members and fans and the broader community – North Queensland and beyond – in supporting our fundraising efforts.
“From the Cowboys Leagues Club and local businesses supporting our community engagement activations and our players getting behind the campaign, to every person who purchased a ticket and helped us spread the word far and wide.
“Having a winner come out of New South Wales demonstrates the reach of this major fundraiser and it’s wonderful to know the prize has gone to such a grateful, deserving winner with a soft spot for the Cowboys.”

The raffle saw 5,935 tickets sold across the four-month campaign.
All proceeds go directly towards supporting the Cowboys Community Foundation’s life-changing programs, creating education, employment, health and social outcomes.
2026 will see an expansion of the Foundation’s fundraising efforts, with more information to come around the second iteration of their Major Raffles due for release at the start of the 2026 NRL Season.
