Every jersey worn and every dollar raised helps people across our community create their own pathways to a brighter future. Funds raised support programs that remove barriers to education, employment and training, while also strengthening health, wellbeing and social connection.
Get involved
Step 1: Register
If you're hosting a fundraiser, we'd love to hear from you! It's quick and easy to register. We'll be in touch to see what you have planned and support you. We can't wait to learn more about your Show Your Colours Day!
Step 2: Promote
Let everyone know about your fundraiser – display the Show Your Colours Day poster and send it out to your contacts. Look out for our messages on Cowboys social media and share!
Step 3: Event day!
On the day, let everyone know how they're helping our community by being part of the fun. Collect your funds and post your photos on social and tag Cowboys Community Foundation!
Step 4: Bank your funds
For Group Fundraising Proceeds:
If your school, workplace or group has raised funds through a gold coin day or event, please deposit your proceeds via direct transfer, using the account details below:

Please note: Group fundraising proceeds are not eligible for tax-deductible receipts, as they are collective funds rather than individual gifts.
Individual Donations (Online – Tax Deductible):
If you’re making an individual donation of $2 or more, you can do so here via our online form. Tax-deductible receipts will be issued by email for these donations.

Where do funds raised from Show Your Colours Day go?
Show Your Colours Day is a fundraiser for the Cowboys Community Foundation, the charity arm of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys and a registered charity with deductible gift recipient (DGR) status, ABN 89 603 728 427.
Funds raised will assist the charity to deliver outcomes-driven programs removing barriers to participation in education, employment and training and supporting health and social connection.
How do I describe the fundraiser to my participants?
Show Your Colours Day is a fundraiser for the Cowboys Community Foundation, the charity arm of the North Queensland Cowboys. By wearing your favourite team jersey or colours for a gold coin donation, you're helping programs like NRL Cowboys House and Try for 5! to create opportunities and inspire futures for people in our community.
Will I receive a tax receipt?
A tax receipt will be issued for individual donations of $2 or more made directly to the Cowboys Community Foundation.
Tax receipts are not issued for group fundraising proceeds, such as gold coin days or pooled collections, as these funds are raised collectively rather than as individual donations.
Is there a deadline for deposit of funds?
For group fundraising proceeds, please deposit funds raised within 30 days of your Show Your Colours Day fundraising event.
