With a strong focus on positive health and wellbeing, term 2 at NRL Cowboys House has created healthier minds and bodies as students well and truly settled into the school year at their home away from home.
While the boarding halls were filled with familiar faces on the return to school, NRL Cowboys House welcomed new partners and Friends of the House to join on the education journey during term 2, supporting students in a range of endeavours.
From the Sistas Stand Strong women’s empowerment program to the inauguration of the NRL Cowboys House Interact Club, and every sporting and academic activity in between, there’s been plenty to keep students occupied and developing personally while studying hard.
Early in the term, the second annual senior parent information sessions saw families travel from remote communities to attend, ensuring they continue to be a significant part of each senior student’s pathway.
With students and staff now enjoying a well-earned mid-year break, we reflect on the moments that made term 2 at NRL Cowboys House.
