Suits, frocks and fancy cars brought a touch of glamour to NRL Cowboys House last week as 13 graduates left one final, stylish mark on their House legacy as they took off for their school formals.

Eight handsome young men and five stunning young ladies marked the end of school life dressed to the nines and ready for a night of fun and celebration.

Four NRL Cowboys House partner schools were represented including Tec-NQ, Ignatius Park College, Calvary Christian College and Kirwan State High, and while rain threatened to put a dampener on some it didn’t stop students from enjoying the occasion.

Each student was fittingly farewelled from the House with a guard of honour by their fellow students, while younger Torres Strait Island students even put on a cultural dance to mark the special event.

Families from remote North Queensland communities joined the students on their big day as emotions spilled over all week.
