Our work continues
Despite these uncertain times, the Cowboys Community Foundation remains committed to improving employment, health and social outcomes for our region.
As the charity arm of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys, we share our club’s concern for our communities amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here’s an update on our priorities and planning:
NRL Cowboys House
All students returned to their home communities last week following completion of their Term 1 assessment and our House team are in regular contact with families to check on the students’ health and wellbeing.
Planning for a scheduled Term 2 return continues but the team is also preparing for potential online delivery of lessons.
We thank our House team, families, partners and contributors for their continued support.
Try for 5! school attendance challenge
Our program to motivate and reward students for attending school continues, albeit in a revised capacity in consultation with our participating schools. Our modelling for Term 2 scenarios also continues.
Thank you to our partner schools and program partners for your commitment to this important program addressing the impact of poor school attendance.
