#ItsInTheBag at NRL Cowboys House

The young women of NRL Cowboys House will now have one less concern as they pursue their studies, thanks to not-for-profit Share the Dignity.

A new partnership with the House will see a Pinkbox Dignity vending machine installed on campus with an ongoing supply of sanitary products for the 50 young residents.

Share the Dignity supply the period products in the vending machine, install the machine and keep it supplied with free products with the help of their volunteers.

As part of their #ItsInTheBag campaign, Share the Dignity have also generously donated bags of essential items including shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush, deodorant and sanitary and personal products.

Share the Dignity is an Australian charity bringing dignity to homeless, at-risk and those experiencing domestic violence through the distribution of period products.

They assist women by distributing sanitary items to those in need and work to end period poverty in Australia, collecting thousands of period products each year through collection drives and campaigns and distributing them directly to charities across Australia.

House General Manager Rochelle Jones says the support is significant for the House and their young women.

“Through their generosity, Share the Dignity are helping us to educate and remove barriers for our female boarders,” Ms Jones said.

“We thank them for this fantastic donation and for their work in giving all women the dignity they deserve.”
