One P supports NRL Cowboys House Girls Campus
We are thrilled to share some exciting news from our Board Director Karen Platt.
Karen, along with her business partner Hayley Clarke recently launched their first collection of simple and natural workwear for women at www.onepdesign.com.au and have graciously included the Cowboys Community Foundation as one of their charity partners. One P will donate $1 from every online sale to Cowboys Community Foundation to support the NRL Cowboys House Girls Campus.
While the idea for One P was born from the former corporate colleagues shared frustrations of deciding what to wear to work each day; the collection evolved from months of research which highlighted the very limited options for buying work clothes made from natural fibres. Hayley and Karen personally interviewed loads of women whose feedback confirmed what they had already uncovered – that was women were spending too much time (an average of 15 minutes) figuring out what to wear to work each day.
Designed and manufactured here in Australia, the environmentally friendly label champion the idea of a minimalistic wardrobe – one that debunks trends and delivers timeless pieces to time-poor women. The debut collection aims to stand up against fast fashion by designing classic, timeless clothes that never go out of style; in natural fabrics that can be machine washed.
In addition to the collection launch, One P aims to create a set of measurements to reflect the modern woman and champion for an industry wide sizing standard. You can get involved by providing your measurements here: www.onepdesign.com.au/measure
